To develop and establish robust, multi-factorial programs in African & Canadian regions where the lives of mothers and their infants continue at risk through exchanges in education, advocacy and culture with the collaboration of related experts, advisors and stakeholders.
To positively impact upon the survival and health of mothers and newborns in Uganda, Pan-Africa and in marginalized, low-resourced regions of Canada.
The Canadian African Maternal Newborn Health Association CAMNHA is an Ontario non-profit organization created to strengthen Midwifery & Nursing practice in regions where the lives of mothers and their infants continue at risk.
As well, we will also focus on public advocacy to increase concern for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and for the well-being of Midwives and Nurses in these regions and worldwide.
